As part of Leading Bank’s digital transformation strategy, the Staff Assist and Self Assist applications support internal users and enhance customer self-service across branches and digital platforms. These systems are critical to business operations and required a stable and scalable QA automation approach to ensure smooth production releases. However, the existing automation framework posed several challenges.
Challenges
Existing Provar automation scripts were flaky and frequently failed during execution
The automation framework lacked clarity, standardization, and maintainability
QA Center of Excellence (COE) standards were not followed
High maintenance costs and unreliable test results reduced confidence in automation
Environment-specific dependencies restricted script execution across SIT and UAT
Manual validation was needed for critical regression before releases
